Should I have waited?

Hello, I recently took a friend out to a expensive restaurant (Morton's steakhouse). It was close to Valentines when we went and I figured we would get a great holiday deal if we go then. We're pretty good friends and I wanted to treat her to something that she hasn't experienced before. I value our friendship however I don't want to her insinuate anything between us. My question is, do you think I've should have waiting after Valentines to go to this restaurant? Also, what would you think if a friend did something like this for you? I know it's too late to worry about this since it's in the past but I would like to hear your opinion. Thanks
